I have been making earrings since 2018.

My early childhood years were spent in NC, where I was the youngest of four children. My family had a two-story house with an awesome attic. This attic is where my siblings and I read, listened to music and books on CD, built Lego cities, and played anything you could imagine. My Mom set up an area with all kinds of paper, cardboard, crayons, markers, glue, tape, etc etc, where we could just create. The attic was my favorite room in the whole house; I can still remember hearing the rain on the roof as my sister played art teacher and I was her student.

After a very difficult year of kindergarten, where I didn’t understand some of the material, my mom realized I was dyslexic. We did some testing to confirm and started homeschooling the next fall. I did my schoolwork in the attic using curriculum that helped me learn through a lot of hands-on materials.

We moved to FL when I was 10. We had to leave the cozy attic behind, but the memories are forever etched in my heart. They were the foundation for my desire to create, and create I did! From knitting and crocheting to embroidery to building doll houses and campers (with all the furniture), to sewing and painting, and playing piano… those were the things I couldn’t wait to do when I finished school each day.

When I was 13, I asked for some clay for Christmas. Within a year, I was making and selling earrings. I have realized that dyslexia is not a disability. God made me exactly the way He wants me to be. My strengths are in creativity and making things that bring joy to others. God has provided me with the tools to be successful in whatever I do. For now, that is making custom jewelry for you to enjoy.

And your ears shall hear a word behind you, saying, “This is the way, walk in it,” when you turn to the right or when you turn to the left.
